School Visits and Field Trips
Educating our youth is extremely important to us. We are constantly visiting schools and allowing visits to our fire station. Please let us aid you in helping kids understand what precautions they must take to avoid devastating fire disasters. Feel free to contact us and we can set up a visit to your school or a time to tour our fire station.
Special Programs
In order to adequately defend the homes within the Wildland Urban Interface (WUI) and minimize the threats to all residents of Utah County , UCFD has joined with the International Association of Fire Chiefs (IAFC) and , Utah’s “Living With Fire” program to educate residents of Utah County. The increased threat of fire is too large for a single entity to alleviate. We invite homeowners to search the following websites to take precautions and make preparations so that their homes and the lives of their families will be better protected.
Ready, Set, Go Program
Managed by the International Association of Fire Chiefs (IAFC), the Ready, Set, Go Program is an excellent program for any tenant or homeowner to be Ready with preparedness understanding, be Set with situational awareness when fire threatens, and to Go, acting early when a fire starts. We urge you to explore and join the Ready, Set, Go program today.
